Hi,

Although I have a photocopy of the TQIII manual it is such poor quality that I can hardly make it out. Can anyone guide me over these controls, on the top of the projector please? I think one is to correct the frame if it is slightly out, the other I'm not sure.

TQ III [model 1693] controls

And how do you operate them - I have tried pushing and turning them but that doesn't seem to do anything?

Many thanks,

Dear Richard,go to the part of the Forum where it says about
"don't forget to send in your manuals" and you'll be able to
download a new one.

Richard

The knob on the left with the square picture above it is the frame control. This will turn either way to ensure that the film projects without the presence of the frame line (top or bottom) in the picture.

The knob to the right with the sort of leaning 9 is the rewind control. When rewinding film turn the main control switch to reverse and then hold down this knob for a few seconds until the rewind clutch cuts in. The spool with then run much faster. If it shows down, hold down the knob again.

Many thanks Hugh and Maurice, I did not realise my post had been addressed [Smile] that information is going to be very useful to me in the coming months and years!

Happy New Year there also!
