Most genlock cables I've seen are just RG59 coax with BNC connectors on either end.

Try B&H Photo http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/992540-REG/timecode_systems_tcb_10_18_timecode_genlock.html. I'm not sure if this exactly what you are looking for....but they do have a variety of video cables.

What type of connector does your DVD player use? RCA? There are BNC to RCA cables available...or you could just make one with an adapter.

I'm not sure what you're doing with the genlock. A genlocked piece of gear normally will connect to a sync generator. When a number of genlocked item are connected to the same sync generator, they can be switched between with no breakup in the signal - a perfectly smooth cut. How are you using it with your projector?

You should use the pictured "video out" to your recorder. The gen-lock on your projector is an input. As I said before, it is for synchronizing your projector with other gear, such as at a TV station. If you are just using your projector as a standalone unit, use the video out, the gen-lock won't do anything for you.
