I have been using the same media pads for the last 6 months on my 16mm head with fortnightly showings at most. The media pads are pretty clean at the end of show so I have rewound and bagged them. My question is how much residue is left from the filmguard as it evaporates on the pads? Can that residue build up with reapplication and transfer to the print?
