We encountered worn out belts in the Bauer 16mm studio projectors (Bauer P6 studio, P7 studio, P8 studio)

But found out these belts are not available anywhere. So we have come up with the solution to replace the non-standard toothed discs with new ones, on which normally available belts fit. (using 3D printing technique)

See here the prototype of these toothed discs and belts:
 -

We are currently testing these and our intention is to bring these on the market soon!

If you have interested in this set, please let me know.
Or, if you need something similar for an other projector, I am also interested!

The Rank Aldis is the same as the Bauer P7.
You mean the studio version of the Rank Aldis?

Hi Alan,
This solution is only required for the Bauer dual-band projectors (with 4 arms, 2 for film and 2 for sound reels)
In the others these belts are not used.

Does your Bauer HTI has 4 arms?

Hi Edwin no my projector has just the standard two arms. I had no idea there was a studio version. I am always learning.
