I recently picked up two used Kodak Pageant AV-126-TR's from a local charity shop. Mechanically they work fine but the exciter lamp isn't working. It's not the bulb as I tried a brand new one from a fully working Pageant with the same results. When I push the amplifier switch nothing happens. Any thoughts / ideas / suggestions on what the problem might be? Thanks everyone!!!

I would suggest that the trouble lies with the push type amplifier on/off switch. Perhaps its contacts are corroded.

Thanks for the reply Maurice. I will definitely check that component out as a possible suspect.
