Would anyone buy this projector?
No lens, No spool arms, No speaker, No pressure plate, No drive belts, No valves/tubes, No cables, Metal casing missing and who knows what else. Quite obviously cannibalised.

Del
That's one way of describing it. The reason it caught my eye is that I have a Hollywood Star, which is virtually the same apart from not having the magnetic recording facility.
It is in beautiful condition and my favourite 16mm projector, for many reasons, but mainly because they are such a quiet running machine.
The one on offer is a travesty and good only for spares. Probably beyond repair.
I cannot believe that the seller has not researched for a comparison to price it up. That would be a basic, surely for an online company like this one.
Seems to me they have got the decimal places wrong. £14.99 would be a good starting point [Cool]

Totally agree Terry, a spares machine at best, these people see a projector and the pound signs start rolling [Frown]
