Hello all. Im in the process of selling an Elmo 16 s projector with some niggles. The feed arm is spinning too fast, resulting in the film coming off the spool faster than it is being ingested into and through the projector onto the take up spool. Plus would this affect the optical sound which is warbly (not really wow or flutter as the transit speed seems constant) . Thank you

2 things I can think of off my head right now.
1.Sticky one-way clutch/bearing in the feed reel arm. It is supposed to engage only in reverse/rewind mode and slip freely during forward run.
2.Feed reel arm belt - it should be snug fit to give some backtension in forward mode.

Just sold mine last year - if only this post came up 6 months earlier... [Roll Eyes]
