Has anyone ever heard of one of these machines only focusing 2/3rds of the picture, and if so what would cause that to happen? film gate not being flat...or maybe warped a little, or would this problem lie with the lens housing. And would this be a easy fix.

Thanks
Tom

I must say that I do not know your particular projector model but most Eiki have an adjusting screw if both sides of the picture are not in focus. The screw is called the lens holder index screw and it has a lock nut.

The screw and its lock-nut are adjusted to achieve optimum overall equal focus. It is under and at the front of the lens barrel.

Of course, it's possible that your machine may have a different mode of adjustment.

Any adjustment must be made with the projector being at a perfect right angle to the screen and also level with it.
