EDIT: I have a test film on its way now, thanks!!!

Hi,

I've got a 16mm projector that someone gave me a couple of years back (Bauer P8T400 rescued from being chucked out by my old college)... I'd like to see if it even works properly but i have no 16mm film, and don't want to spend much to test it. Also don't want to risk anything important in case it chews it up! [Smile]

Any ideas about the cheapest way + could get some expendable 16mm footage to try it out?

If anyone has any random 16mm I could buy very cheap (or trade for as-new Super-8 'island of mystery'/'escape from atragard' exerpts) for testing please let me know! Obviously the subject + condition isn't too crucial, tho it would need to be good enough to run thru the projector of course! [Big Grin]

thanks!

Hello Tim
If you could PM me your address details I'm happy to give you a 16mm sound film to test your projector with, I have a couple of faded but in good physical shape cartoons spare, one of which will do the trick for you to see if your machine works. All I would ask is for the actual post cost to be re-imbursed - this should be quite low as we are both located in the UK. Over to you.
