Hi all

I have acquired an Elmo 16Cl, it powers up and the lamp works.

I hope to get a sound film to test with soon.

I am in medway Kent, if anyone is interested please DM me.

A very useful projector, easy to load, and the film can also be removed quickly if necessary. Hope you've got your test film by now.

Don't forget that there is a Normal/High lamp selector switch which can be operated when the side cover is removed. Be very careful when taking the cover off, I suggest gently pulling from the left side to get it moving, the large threading guide piece on bottom right corner is liable to crack if first pulled.

I have tested with sound film and it works lovely. :-)

Still need to find out its possible value as there are few for sale in the UK.

Providing it has the new toothed belts in its spool arms, and all the rubber rollers are nice and clean (not getting sticky), I should say a good specimen should be valued at about £150.
