Hi I`m looking for a Bauer P7, after a really nice quiet one in little used order please.

Bit of advice on them would be handy as well.

Many Thanks Mark.

PS needs to be a P7 as asynchronus.

Really, Never had one myself. I thought they were OK.

Probably not as straight forward or reliable as an Elf/Eiki.

Best Mark.

The Bauer/Rank Aldis machines are good performers and their 3 or 4 tooth claws handle damaged film better than the twin tooth Eikis. Plenty of them on Ebay Germany at a price. All 16mm machines are getting old now and will need an overhaul if they haven't had one in the last 15 years.

I entirely agree with Paul.
I have two Rank Aldis and one Bauer. They handle film far better than the Eiki/Elfs. They have the same sprocket arrangement and lacing as the Bell & Howells, but without the notorious worm problem.
