Hi Still on the lookout for a nice Bauer P7 and also now looking for a Bell and Howell TQ3, the version with the slideing belt lever from 18-24 FPS.

Hi Mark,

I don't think any of the TQ3s have a belt operated speed change? Not the 1692, 1693, 1694, 1695 or 1698 which all have a slider switch at the back. May be the 25XX series have it though some are single speed.

Good luck with the P7 too.

The TQM models 2685, 2692 & 2698 have a sliding lever below the lamp-house for speed change.
As the lever flips over the belt it should only be moved when the motor is running.

Thanks Clyde asked about the worm gear as if its not been done yet about £30 would be my max with all the costs.

You can obviously get the things free etc just that I need one specifically with an asynchronus motor here.
