I know this is way off topic, but is anyone thinking of, or traveling to the Vatican this week?

I wish there was a 16mm film that captured the bio of the Pope,
but I'm thinking that new 16mm film is finished in today's era.

I your opinion was it as busy as one of Mr Wiltons BFCC.
I know you are very high & mighty but I don't think you should apply for the job of the next Pope.

Oh, that's what happened on Monday?
I thought that Mr. Elmo was a shoe-in
for the post, knowing that he and
Mr. Tony and Doug as moderators
are in the college of cardinals
of Projectors.

Well at least we've got our
own small Papacy
and conclave here on the forum. [Smile]

Now what's that phrase about being
drawn to the Light?

There is a very rare film you could look out for on Super 8. Around the early/mid 80s, I was in the Perry's Movies shop in London and saw a nicely packaged 3 x 400' documentary on Pope Jean Paul II. It was an Italian release but with English sound. I was tempted to buy it - having never come across it since, I wish I had. Maybe Ian remembers selling it.

Hi Adrian,

Wow, that's great news! Thanks for the heads-up on the
3x400 part documentary on Pope John Paul II.
Surprisingly for me, there are films that were produced
in markets abroad that are rare in this part of the world.
Which brings to mind that if I have the opportunity to obtain
such a print, it will probably contain footage that I would
not have witnessed due to the origin of production being
European, instead of American.

Once again, thank you.
