Have asked ealsewhere but got no help.

Just got what looks like a film can.
Would hold one or maybe 2 by 2000ft 16mm spools. Purhaps it is a 35mm can.
Now the interesting part on the lid in black paint is
Jet Jeans presents
The Involvement
Then a couple of lines in French

Anyone advise me what I have?
Regards
David

Thanks Jean-Marc
The words are not 'printed' letters like I'm typeing here but hand written, and hard to read,
But here goes.

au sakle. et deja il valait!
Ergm
son propre nio vement

au might be av
sakle not sure of the k might be b
valait not sure of the l might be b
nio vement might be one word, top of o link with a sqiggle to top of v

Intriguing...
Maybe "sakle" is "sable" (sand) and the first line would be:
"In the sand. He was already worth it."
No clue for the second line. Initials of some sort, maybe.
"nio vement" could be "mouvement", last line could be "His own move".

Maybe this can used to contain a test-reel...
