OK, just wondering... how many posts do I have to have to escape my 'junior' status? [Smile]

I think in a matter of time, you will be so-heralded as a 'Jedi Master Film Handler', perhaps 'Phenominal Film Handler' - Give it time and enjoy the scenery - Shorty

Thanks, guys!! I think there are many now, or former projectionists and theatre managers (I, being a former of both), here in the forum. I had many years in that, from a twin cinema, drive-in, to a four-plex, six-plex, eight-plex, and my final stint as booth manager at a 20-plex (yes, we actually thought about using roller skates to get from one end to the other end of the booth). So, my experience from those years took to 35 and 70mm formats. When I changed careers (now in banking, sales), I dabbled in collecting Super 8 for a few years, sold out, now am back in. I guess it feeds the need to be around film. The booth is what attracted me to the theatre business when I was 15.

So, I think it'd be nice to hear about others' backgrounds here.

Don't believe those titles though Greg. Mine says "Film god" and trust me, I'm no film god!

From all I've observed, you've earned that!
