Here is the thing, on the way home to Indonesia, I will be making a Europe tour.

I will of course bring the super 8mm camera to shoot my trips.

My trip will end in Italy and from there I will send the cartrdiges to Dwayne in Kansas USA.

can member fro Italy tell me what is the best (price wise) to send these cartridges to USA with a traceable service?

Does the government run company will have cheaper rate than the private companies, such DHL or FedEx?

The parcel weight will be around 400 grams.

thanks,

I wouldn't trust ANY government run company to ship any of my items. Unless you want them lost forever. DHL has great international shipping. So what's more important...rates or getting the item there?

Pat, in some country, the different between the government run company and FedEx/DHL can be tripled.

In the USA probably is not the case because of the competition.

So that is why I need an opinion from Italian members.

ps: the government run companies have a global agreement under IPU (International Postal Union) to have EMS as a traceable courier.
