The extra hour in bed is not a special offer from Keith Wilton!

A reminder to members, mainly from abroad who will probably be spending the night locally after attending the Ealing Convention on Saturday 26, that European Summer Time ends at 2am on Sunday 27 October when the clocks must go back one hour to 1am.

Locally, it will be BST back to GMT, but UK and most European countries now share the same day for the clock change.

There you are.... it IS an "age problem".... MINE!!!
I checked the date, using a link my browser remembered http://www.bfcc.biz/index.html

and then misread it as this year, not 2012.

Ah, well! At least my wife still puts up with me.

Martin, it is just that I checked several time before booking the train tickets (what I did several months ago to get the cheapest fare).

Maurice, I intend to, but because of the distance I rely on staying with a friend in Basingstoke and driving from there.
Last year I missed out at the last minute because the friend's Mother died; this year she's going in for an operation so nothing's certain until the last moment.
I'm not actually a collector; my interest is mainly in renovating used equipment sand I've had some good bargains from the Bring and Buy in both equipment and spares "breakers".
But I've made my badge.... so who knows?
