How does he know there's no issues? Belts (if it uses them) can have gone, lubrication might be needed ...

With its 50 watt lamp it's a Hanimex masquerading as a Bell & Howell.

"Possibly missing instruction manual and power cord". Either they're there or they're not. It doesn't take much time to be sure, or not.

"Extremely hard to find". I'm not surprised.
