Yep, and I'm one fanatic that is absolutely DROOLING right now,

well, I think I could be called a fanatic ... ANYONE, who would pay 800.00 dollars for a 1977 scope super 8 version of STARS WARS, has earned the right to be called a fanatic!!!

THIS is the trailer we have been waiting for, and there are STILL the official theatrical non-teaser trailers to be released in the next 7 month's or so!!

I'm betting that these trailers, if any are being released on 35MM, will be hot items on the ebay, ( I know that I want them!)

I was around 12 in 1977, got goosebumps then and now. ;-)
Wish I had a Super 8 projector, I'd run my Ken Film's 400 footer. To me, that personified watching SW at home, not VHS,DVD, BR, or digital...oh that's right, I'm in the right place for those who would understand that..ha.

I doubt that we will ever see the trailer on Super8 [Frown] due to the fact that 35mm presentation in the cinema has gone. The trailer will most likely be on digital format only. [Frown]

Actually Graham, there was a series of posts about some fellow printing the first new STAR WARS trailer on super 8, without stripe, but judging by the screenshots, it wasn't that bad of a printing.

I bet this same fellow will sell a lot more trailers if he is able to print this second, new trailer!!!

That sounds good Osi [Smile]

If he can get a 35mm print of the new trailer and get some stripe on it that would be a big seller. Now if a German or UK lab can get the Super8 rights to print it, that would be even better. However it does need to have a soundtrack as well...its no use being silent.
