Those of you who subscribe to Classic Images are probably aware that Rand Eastin, the son of the founder of Blackhawk is writing a book on the history of the company.

Just heard - Well, I knew it wouldn't be me - I certainly hope John Black's efforts can be mentioned though - I'll be first in line for an inscribed copy - Shorty

Shorty, do you have John Black's research on the subject? It might be something than Rand Eastin could use.

Thanks for sharing the news. I will be looking forward to this. It would also be really interesting to see the info John Black knew and gathered as well.

His family has his paperwork I'm sure, I tried (and still am) to get in touch - Some of his efforts were printed in Reel-Image - Will see if I can help on the book, though it's late already, don't know if I can add much to the project

Has anyone heard anything more about when or if this book is going to be published?
