I've just had an email from the BFI. They are showing a 70mm restored print of Laurence of Arabia in NFT1 on Sunday 17 April at 3pm. The bad news is the centre and right hand blocks (as seen from the screen) of seats are already sold out, only the left hand block available now.

I attended a 70mm presentation of this magnificent film on the IMAX screen in Bradford several years ago.You had to physically turn your head to see each edge of the film,it was THAT big! Definition was superb. I urge anyone within striking distance of the venue of this up and coming presentation to go and experience it. (also saw Back To The Future II / 2001 - A Space Odyssey on the same screen)

Even better for mumber of seats (possible due to the success of The Hateful Eight) an email from Odeon Leicester Square advertises Batman v Superman 70mm, 4-5 shows a day from this Friday. Possibly even better the BFI Imax are advertising this in 15/70mm.
