this has recently been released on blu ray by BFI. SHOOTING STARS 1927 is a great silent picture with a teriffic music score. but even more interesting are the extras,all in HD.my favourite.SECRETS OF A WORLD INDUSTRY-THE MAKING OF CINEMATOGRAPH FILM 1922.worth purchasing for this item alone.astonishing quality and content.no true film lover should be without this.

I had the chance to see SHOOTING STARS on 16mm film at the Cinevent in Columbus, Ohio last year. Enjoyed it.
