Well what a treat running this Scope 35mm print trailer on the Ernemann2 over the weekend. I have had the trl for a while now, but this was the first chance to screen it. I am not sure the exact running time, but it is quite long, both picture and sound was excellent. "Mackenna's Gold" is one of my favorite films from the 60s. I have the LP and the score to this film by Quincy Jones is brilliant.

"Mackenna's Gold" was released in 1969 and opened in London as a Royal Charity Premiere in April 1969, followed by its American debt in July.

Very nice photos there Graham. Brilliant colours on that trailer.

I showed this film away back in 1969 in The Capitol Cinema Aberdeen Scotland where I worked as a projectionist.

The print was one of those rare 35mm 4 Track Stereo Magnetic/ Optical sound. It had those " Foxhole Perforations ".

I still have the film score LP too. I have both the UK and USA versions.

If my memory is correct I think it had an Intermission too but it did have Play-in music at the start of the feature.

Aye Tom I spied it too. Was tempted but never bothered as I showed it a lot of times over the years and thought I might not even watch again if I bought it. [Big Grin]
