Hi Melvin, Im sure you will find the place. If I can manage to make my way to Cleethorpes to collect a projector from CHC, and leaving home on the 05-20 train, I'm sure you will make it from Hull. Hope to see you there.

As I had promised myself, I did make the effort to trek over the inhospitable snow covered peaks of the Pennines yesterday (via a nice warm car on the M62 of course!)to attend the Farnworth convention.
Verdict? What have I been missing out on all these years!!?? An excellent day's rummaging through the films and equipment. Nigel's hospitality was wonderful.... greeting everybody as they walked through the door. The amount of stuff for sale made it very much worth the 2 hour+ drive, and also noticed that I did not recognise some of the stall holders from Blackpool, which meant that I was looking at a set of fresh items.great stuff!
The location was superb. Clive - it was an absolute doddle getting there from the M62/M61. I had checked it on Google prior to setting out, and it is a strange feeling as one approaches, to recognise somewhere one has never been before.
All I can now say is... if anyone else has ever thought about attending Farnworth but not taken the plunge..... do it! You won't regret it.There is also an excellent cafe within the building so you won't get hungry!

Hi Melvin, Glad you had a good day even if the weather could have been better. I see there is another collectors fair in September in Accrington, worst thing is I am away on holiday. Looks if I will have to wait until November for Blackpool.

Delighted to hear it was so good. It would be a formidable day trip by train from South London, but I'll seriously consider going next year!

Hi Adrian, Im sure you would enjoy it. Its probably not too bad by train. I think you would need the train from Euston to Manchester Piccadilly. Then from Piccadilly to Farnworth. Thats sorted then, see you next year
