Being in this forum, it's clear we all have a love of film... but....

What else are you mad about? Show us!

Record players? Cars? Fishing? Tape Recorders? Making cakes? Cats? Dogs? Pets?....
The wife? The kids? That old tv set?

This is the place to show off that 'other stuff' that makes your life tick...

Please do show us what else you really enjoy in life...

For me, it's records and record players and my cat.
I am enjoying bringing the record player back to life...
I have made a video of it if you like that sort of thing...

You can play 'spot the intro' with my soundtrack to the video, my other love is editing audio

Restoring my chilhood record player... (youtube video)

I had a philco cabinet with a garrard RC 120 changer, as a kid, growing up in the 60's
Of course, as a kid, it ended up as part of my go kart...
Back at christmas this year I was given an RC120 in a different box, and it has been amazing, some 50 years later, to try to restore it properly, to the best of my ability...
When I was a kid, I just took things to peices...

Tom i was glad to see the back of my old Dansette as it was a pile of crap and a record molester even when in perfect working order.

I don't want it back ever even for nostalgic reasons.
