I think this forum is just kinda dated but I will ask anyway...

Is there a way to reply to a particular post? To let another know poster the reply is for them.

Also there seems to be time limitations for making a reply. I get this message...

You may not immediately reply to yourself. Please use the edit feature or try again later.

I suppose you could use that "@ State their Name" thing. We do see it here and there, but this forum is pretty much just conversation: just begin a response to a specific person with their name and a comma.

Dave
I am not sure why you would want to reply to yourself.
If perhaps it's because you made a typing mistake or you want to add something you can use the EDIT icon which is the fourth in the row.
This way your posting will return for you to edit it as you wish. When completed you can return the posting.

No, I am not trying to reply to myself.

That is just the "error" message I get - I guess you have to wait a certain time between posts?

I think you need to wait something like an hour, which is also as much time as you can change a post until a message shows up saying you've done an edit.

Dave - There's no delay if you are replying to someone else's post, so if you are seeing that message, something is going wrong. It might be a temporary problem - you could perhaps try a different browser.
