I was surprised to see on a Platform a 110v plug. It's obviousely not an old forgotten one. Does any of our British members know what TFL (Transport For London) uses this kind of plugs for ?

For electric tools used by the TFL or its contractors, 110v being considered safer and often used by the building trade. Also it discourages illegal and potentially dangerous use by others who won't have 110v equipment.
