Just saw this listed on Ebay. I don't know ... Who ever made it is admittedly creative and maybe I'm being overly sensitive... but it just makes me sad to see this projector turned into a lamp. On the other hand at least it will be out for display I guess [Roll Eyes]

Janice these things usually disgust me, but it looks like this person my have not interfered with the actual projector, so I will give them a pass, but projectors are supposed to project film, not sit in a museum under glass, or be repurposed into furniture..

Hi, It seems to be the current "Trendy" thing to do. At least it has not ended up being dumped in a tip. We have to face facts, we are a dying breed. Thankfully there are a number of cinema museums where old projectors are displayed and thus preserved so that future generations can see how their forebears used to live and entertain themselves. Sadly we now live in a throw away society and there are fewer and fewer people who have the knowledge and skills to be able to repair or maintain vintage visual and audio equipment. Ken Finch.

Here is my projector lamp, which I purchased at Cracker Barrel for $19.95. It is a casting os some kind, and it looks like the design is modelled after a Pathe Coq D'Or
