It’s the time of year when we’ve done the film shows then try to find some free hours to service or improve vintage machines. My own Pathe Vox sound projector has finally got the once over but my friend put me onto the ‘oil pen’ which are available from C P C order no: me18413 These oil pens are filled with oil and have a very small needle so that you can get into the oil nipples on the old Pathe projectors perfectly. After using one I now wonder how I managed without it and at a mere £4.50 it is probably the best thing you will buy for keeping vintage machines running smoothly. I have also upgraded the original lens to a 20mm type which gives a great deal brighter picture on the home screen and sharper, finishing with a full internal electrical check inside and out the machine. Job done!

Lee could you give a closer look at that lens upgrade. I'd like to find a brighter one for mine..

Dino you will need to remove the lenses and then turn the sleeve to fit any lens. A suitable lens about 25 to 20mm is ideal for general home use. [Cool]
