My in-laws left me an intriguing box of puzzles and about a dozen 9.5mm films, some of which are probably home movies. Most are dated 1935 to 1942. They were probably taken by my father-in-law's father, who lived in Cheshire and wrote chess puzzles for the Manchester Evening News, ground lenses for a refracting telescope, etc. - an interesting man. I'd like to view the films, before deciding if I wanted to convert any for other family members. If you have a working 9.5mm projector not far from Hertford, Herts., and could give me some time, I would really appreciate the chance to view these films.

I could trade a projector bulb, splicer, book, and/or commercial films for your time spent helping me.
