I was just sifting through my vast collection of film catalogues and lists when I came across some old lists from Cecil Cramp.
A very nice old gentleman now sadly no longer with us.
Who else has memories of Cecil ?

He was a supreme seller of 9.5mm films. I also believe that Cecil issued complete contents listings of the Pathescope Super Gazettes which were issued monthly from April 1934 in SB form.

Cecil had also great knack of finding some titles for me.
He tracked down 9.5mm copies of Hitchcock's silent BLACKMAIL for me and also Fritz Lang's METROPOLIS to name a couple.
For me he represented a cosy homely side of film collecting the antithesis and the other side of the collecting scene in contrast to the bigger players such as Derann Film Services.
I have some of those Pathescope monthlies and catalogues.
I miss my phone chats with him and his polite old timer approach.

Likewise Dom, I've got a few 9.5's with that stamp on the box and they are always good quality. He was a very respected collector/dealer.

I have many 9.5mm prints purchased from him. They wer often sold at £1.00 per 300ft reel in the days when so many people deserted 9.5mm for the "upstart" Super 8.!!! Ken Finch.
