If Derann would go to Sunday River Productions and revive some of their best railroad films on Super-8

(Sunday River still makes them on video, but so what!)

Steve, I second your vote for anything Wallace and Grommet, add to that any of the 'Claymation' productions including the series of shorts recently aired on British tv.

I think Derann have chosen well recently with their animated releases of 'Gone Nutty' and 'For the Birds' I'd like to see some more along those lines too!

I agree with John- We super 8 collectors are long overdue for a nice state of the art, full scope and full stereo version of the ageless Kubric classic - 2001. Or AT LEAST - how about a full 600 feet or so, comprised of the last 30 minutes. Lots of effects, HAL's attack, with all the famous lines ("I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that") [Wink] Or some of those great wide-screen shots in space with the classical music. Great stuff for showing off our hobby to others who are unaware of Super-8's potential. Nick.

Any Universal Horror features from the 30's and 40's that have not yet been released. Werewolf Of London, The Raven, Son Of Frankenstein, Frankenstein Meets The Wolfman. Creature From The Black Lagoon would be very nice to see full length. Doesn't even have to be the 3D version. D'Arcy

As it's unlikely we'll see feature releases of these how about an extract from Gladiator? And what about the future Manhatten sequence from Fifth Element - in terms of 8mm impact that has got to be the most desirable special effects sequence of recent years.

Then there is John Carpenter's The Thing, Blade Runner, Alien Resurrection... plus I can't wait for the feature release of Terminator 3. Still want a decent print of 2001 though.
