Fear not, I am not looking to buy but these seemed to be a lot of Euro's. Anyone know anything about them? They have been listed before.

They look nice ones Tony but very pricey, i have the smaller pair the ES-500 set that really sound nice in the home set up.
These look like they could be the next ones up but can't find an ES number for them so have emailed the seller i don't think they are the pair that Kev has, i think his are the top of the range ones with two woofers, these look in-between, with only one woofer, still very nice.

WOOF.

They're the same as mine but mine cost about 40 Euros which I think is a fairer price.

Chris they do look like mine which are the ES1000's. I must say though, that I though the ES1000's were only made in black. These look like Mike's which I think are the ES800's. Ask the seller for the dimension accross the speaker. The 500's are 5", ES800's 8" ES1000's 10" and the ES1200's, which I have never seen, are 12".

I've just learnt something new, mine must be the ES 1000 as the speaker is 10" across [just got a rule out and checked].

Hello,

the price of the speakers is really too high. I have the same pair of speakers (the big speaker's diameter is 25 cm - 10 inch) so this must be the ES-1000 speakers. It is correct that two versions are existing: One completly black version and one brown version. I would take £125 for my speakers which is really not too much.

Best Wishes

Hello Grandpa,

I suppose it is off to some nice residential home for the week to spend all that money that you (as a dealer) "ripped" out of our pockets so to speak! [Frown]

Sent you an email about the speakers... [Roll Eyes]
Have a nice break and remember to come home with your own teeth this time.

Hec tony with that little bit of cheek you may be risking your closest to Perry`s neighbour discount.
I do believe I + J are off to sunny France, lots of foreigners over there I hear.
If Ian gets a moment I think he said he is going to stock up on false beards as his is wearing thin after some serious use, ( too much soup and nibbling leader in too shape).
By the way Ian, I taped top gear last night, where and when should I look to spot you as had a quick look and didn`t manage.
best Mark.
