Dear colleagues,
That's my first post, although I have been following the forum frequently in the last 4 months.
My first contact with Super 8 was when I was 4-5 years old (I am 30 now) and I never forgot. It was amazing to watch "Peter Pan" playing (with sound) on my living room (in a white sheet fixed on the wall)! My dad had a friend and he borrowed the projector and some cartoons, it was one of the happiest nights for me, as I still remember it in details... About two or three years later, my dad bought a VCR - which I also liked at that time - but it was not the same feeling of "theather"...
Well, everything got back to me about 6 months ago, when I found and bought an old 8mm silent projector for very cheap and I give it a try. I was able to fix it (I am an Electrical Engineer) and since them, I did not stop to researching and collecting 8mm and super 8 related stuff. Unfortunately, my budget is short, and I still do not have any Derann print or LPP color films, but I hope to get there, little by little... hehe.
So far I already got a dual 8 projector from Raynox Model 3000 and an Eumig Mark S807D.
In addition, I also got a B&H 308 Autoload Super 8 camera, wich I was able to fix (was badly corroded because of battery leak) and in the next weeks I will try to make my first 8mm movie with an Ektachrome 64T!
If anybody is looking for a nice Super 8 Sound projector, I found one last week in very good conditions on the original box. I tested it and open it and confirmed it's good conditions. I put it on ebay (no reserve), later you check my post on the Trade section.
That's it! I hope to exchange some info and maybe movies with you and since now, I would like to thank you for the very nice hints I found in the forum up to now! This is really "The Source" for 8mm format! ![[Razz]](tongue.gif)

Welcome here Ed, believe me you will like this forum very much.
I live in North York, you are in Mississauga, so we are close indeed.
I love 8mm for my sentimental reason, so I don't care with Derann prints, since my budget is also limited.

That is so coincidence, let me know when you finish the shooting since I have PK59 mailers which can be used to develop and process this film at Dwayne in Kansas USA (the mailer will cover the lab cost and return shipping cost).
I will sell this very cheap, instead of $12 charge by Dwayne and $12.5 for shipping back to your home (making total $24.5 = CAD$27).

Thanks everybody for the warm and prompt welcome messages! I was really surprised how active the forum is, amazing!
Bill, thanks a lot for your tips regarding my B&H 308 camera and the 64T. I also checked before I bought the film on the super8wiki website and I believe that it should work. I printed the "ruler" available on that site to see if the camera will recognize it, for my surprise it seems that will, please I need a second opinion:
In the camera manual, it also says that "this camera can accept all types of Super 8 15mts cartridges and will adjust the exposure automatically". I wonder if there was 64 films back in 1968 (year of this camera)...
I am excited to try it:
Please, if anybody knows something that might help me, I will really appreciate.
