Bought this projector at a flea market. Everything seems to work fine except that the film will not auto feed. Managed to push it through manually and get it to take up reel but it moved too slow through projector and risked damaging film. Something not right. Would appreciate any help you can give. Thanks!!

Hi Allen

Welcome to the forum!

There may be film stuck in the film channel. Remove the bottom and there is a removeable clear cover. There may be film stuck in there. I have had a couple of these machines. They are unique.

Could be a broken nylon gear...The teeth fall apart due to old age...

The only way to tell is to open it up and inspect the gears. I sent you a link to the repair manual. It tells you how to open it up and what to look for.

Opened up the bottom and took take up reel out. No film that I can see. I was able to push some film through to the take up reel and it was working but the film was feeding way to slow through the machine.

I used to be a Kodak dealer in NYC and when this happened, Kodak would replace the entire machine as long as it was under warrenty..They never fixed this problem. I think the labor would cost too much. I tried once and found the gears to be wasted and very hard to get to...
