Dear members

I have aquired resently a perfectly working Canon auto zoom 518 super 8 and I am interested in shooting some scenes with it. The only thing is that I do not know where to get a film cartridge and if I get one, film development would be an issue.

Is there a chance that I could get a cartridge in the UK?

Thank you in advance

Regards
Christos

Christos...welcome to the forum! I have two Canon 518's and they are a simple but beautiful camera. Very sharp lens.

I will let someone from the UK tell you where you can get film and processing because I only know here in the US, but rest assured it is available. [Smile]

Yassou Christo,

It always surprises me how many Greeks there are on this forum!

My wife is from Piraeus, I've never been as far west as Patras - I've never been further west than Argos in fact. I go to Greece most summers, normally a day or two in Piraeus and then straight out to the islands, normally Syros.

The only issue with Greece is that post can sometimes take a very long time to get there...

Yassou Bart!

I have visited your lovely web site although I wish that I could visit the brick and mortar store to browse through and meet you.

As for London, I have had the time of my life and made very good friends.

I now live far from Patra.

Conserning shippment of goods from Greece to England it takes around five days. Though from England to Greece it takes around two.

I hope that I will visit London again rather soon.

All my best wishes!

Regards
Christos
