Yes, and, as others have said in a recent thread, am very pleased with it in all respects. I have not needed to try the Recording facilities, but others speak highly of it. Some people criticise the coaxial reel assembly, but I have not had problems with it.

yep, a great projector. One thing to keep in mind if you chose to record. Whiloe it makes stunning stereo recordings, you may want to move the main belt in the projector, as this will increase the speed of your projector and raise it up to 25 or so frames, very important if your source is DVD.

The speakers I'm using ate 8 ohm ones...Elmo speaker set. Will these damage the amp where the output is marked at 4 ohms.

Simon, I have used 8 ohm Bose speakers with my 926 and 938. They work great, and in fact 8 ohm speakers put much less of a load on the projectors amplifier - so in that sense thay are 'safer' than 4 ohm speakers. The only problem using 8 ohm speakers is that you will get slightly less volume than with 4 ohm - but in a home set up this should not be an issue at all.

Hell, I plug that lovely lady (926) through my stereo amplifier and Dolby unit. It has a "fake stereo" mode that works quite well with the mono recordings!
