Hi all,

I have been buying the above title twice but always found they are pale in color. Some colors are still noticeable but not that strong.

Although both prints I bought are on AGFA.

I have several T&Js on AGFA and they do have really vibrant colors.

Is this always the case for this particular title?

If so, I will be stop looking for this title.

Your advise please.

Winbert, I don't have this title, but I imagine it would have been good colour when released.

I bought some Tom and Jerry's brand new back in 1980 and the colour was beautiful. Some of these have some fade now.

I imagine neither Walton or MGM would have released anything but good colour cartoons back then.

David,

I believe some TJ from MGM have faded (or at least have not strong color) since the beginning since many of them were on Eastman.

For Walton, that is exactly my experience that most of them have strong colors because they are on AGFA (some are Fuji though). But for this particular title "Milky" does show pale although also on AGFA.

If it is because of the negative then there is no point for me to look for another one.

So if other members here can confirm that he has it with strong colors, than I am wrong. Can someone tell me here please.

Thanks

I s

FWIW, I've had one or two AGFA features which faded to a somewhat pastel look. They didn't fade to red like an Eastman, but did take on a desaturated look.
