Can anyone here advise on what these are usually worth to buy?
They are like new & still in Elmo boxes & are 1200' brushed aluminium reels. Five available if I want to chase after them.
Let me know how much is reasonable to pay & if there is a demand for them. They look good but are they practical?

Here is the location on ebay with a few days to go.

Very much in demand Frank. They usually fetch around $30.00 USD each, especially in the condition you described.

They are excellent reels, lightweight and good-looking, and they spool film up very evenly.
Some people ask ridiculous amounts for them, but $30 is not uncommon.

Claus.

Not a bad deal:

The Gepe 800 footer runs in the mid twenties and they're still making them.

Frank, I've seen them go for $70 more than once on eBay. And those were not new (but good condition).

They are a very nice reel. I use them for my 3 x 400ft digests and a feature or two. Great capacity and light in weight.
