Bought an Eumig 824 projector on ebay as nobody else was bidding and I considered it quite cheap even with the description "broke".
It arrived today and there was many little things broke but also the pin for the film advance was broken off. Some hours of work it took me to put the gate assembly of a 802 model, that I have just for spares, in. The hardest part was to get the bulb holder on again as it is attached to the gate on the 824 but to the main frame on the 802. But in the end I managed it all and here it is: another projector revitalised!

Alexander,

Good work!
I have great respect for those who can 'go deep' like this and fix the heart of a machine. Nice to hear the Eumig now has a "new life".

Bravo! [Smile]

I like hearing about old machines being brought back to life.
I've said it before and I'll say it again....every projector deserves to be saved! [Big Grin]
