Only just noticed as I'd started reading your latest contribution (which has become one of the most interesting part of the magazine) but I hadn't reached the end yet!

Although it's a publication that I hope all collectors will support, I can't say that the proof reading and checking are amongst its strong points!

While I enjoyed FFTC in the past, I've had to let my subscription lapse -- particularly after a recent article in which one certain collector was positioned as an "expert" on film collecting -- unfortunately, this same "expert" collector also made it a practice to not pay for films from various suppliers.

Hi Tom -- I prefer not to name the individual on a public forum. (However, Tom, I can e-mail you separately if you'd like.) But, as with anything else in life, I caution fellow collectors to always apply a critical eye when reading anything and everything regarding our hobby.

I have a real problem when a few collectors' blind desire to acquire films overrides their basic sense of responsibility to actually pay for the films. Fortunately, the vast majority of film collectors pay their debts -- but there are a few that, in their collecting mania, believe that adding yet another film to their collection trumps their responsibility to pay suppliers. Given that the few suppliers that are out there aren't exactly making much (if any) money in their endeavors to service us film collectors, the few bad apples need to owe up to their responsibilities and discontinue their freeloading ways if the hobby is to continue.
