This is not my sale:

Super 8 Born Free Sound Color 400'

I have seen this title so many times, but just like "the Sound of Music" digest, it never had good color. But this print is an exceptional.

I would not get that price for my print if I replaced it if they came down then I might consider it 🙁

I have the Animex 'scope version of that. It has always been rather pale (much lighter than those pics) , I'm not sure how faded it is now as I haven't shown it for a couple of years

I have that as well, Brian. It has good color but as you said, it is a little pale and it appears to have been printed just slightly bright, but it looks far better than most flat prints.
It's also quite sharp as well. I must say that this 400ft flat print is the best that I hav seen the flat prints. I'm betting it was one of the "re-prints" that were marketed right at the end of the first super 8 era by Columbia pictures in the bright yellow boxes.

For BOrn Free purists, there WAS an actaul full length feature of this in scope on super 8 and the prints were supposed to be pretty good!
