Can anyone help please, i am making a few minor repairs to a freinds elmo 1200. All finished but one thing, the spring that sit at the top of the clutch assy is missing, i have an image here which shows where this fits with a blue line, if you have one from an old machine that you can sell me please contact me on

Just in case anyone missed this one, i'm still looking for a spring that sits across the top of this Elmo 1200 clutch assy, shown with a blue line.

Hi Tom
You can get away with many universal extension springs that are similar to the original elmo spring.
Most auto parts suppliers carry a selection of these springs. If you trim the hooks to produce good tension in the spring it will be as good as original.
Just find one thats similar in guage & trim to size.
I have replaced a few with no problems.
