I have a baia 8mm splicer with a cracked viewing glass, can i make a new one or replace it, can i get a new one? thanks for any help you can give me David. p.s. anybody know the number for a new bulb for it also, thanks.

Hello David,
I suspect you mean editor rather than splicer. I have to say I think Baia were not a particularly famous brand (I think they badged other makers' products).
In any event the cost of replacing a cracked screen is likely to cost more than sourcing a decent replacement off eBay,

If the "viewing glass" is a flat piece of ground glass or opal perspex, take it out carefully and try your local glass supplier.
He should be able to cut you a piece to size.

Thanks John and Martin for your replys, John you are correct it is a editor. I am going to try Martins suggestion and go to my local glass dealer if it is not that expensive and if that dosen"t work i will try one on ebay as john suggest. thanks again. p.s. John and Martin is a song by Dion.
