Hi,

a couple of years ago I've bought Columbia's "Apollo 11 - Man On The Moon" (Super8, colour, no sound, comes on a 60m/100ft-reel that isn't full). But the film is nearly completely red&black. So the "lunar landing" looks more like a landing on Mars. [Frown] [Wink]
So I tried to find a better specimen - but all the "Space-/NASA-Films" from Columbia I've found on ebay/hood/mediavana/... did have the same problem with "reddishness". Are there any "Space-/NASA-Films" from Columbia where the colour is still okay? Or have they all been printed at the same time on the same filmstock (and hence can now only being tossed away)?

Jörg
P.S.: The scenes that have been transferred from video to super8 look weird: It's more like one frame "only moon", next frame "moon with astronaut", next frame "only moon", next frame "moon with astronaut", ... . So it makes the whole landing look like a fake. [Big Grin]
