Hello group,
I now have a new hobbie! Bought a sealed box at a garage sale.
What's in the box:
1---Bell & Howell Brownie 500 8mm movie projector with broken off fan blade (found blade and repaired the fan)works ok.
1---Bell & Howell 370 8mm lumina 1.2 movie projector in working condition. QUESTION: How do I move the lens to oneside for cleaning? I pulled sideways but nothing happened.
2---Bell & Howell 482a 8mm movie projectors. Both have the same problem, a small plastic/nylon screw broken off flush with the real spindles. I made a screw extractor, removed the old shafts.QUESTION: What the heck is the screw size?
Found in the bottom of each projector:
2 flat washers, 1 thin curved washer, 1 plastic gear,1 spacer
(one projector did not have spacer). QUESTION: What order are these parts assembled on the shaft?
QUESTION: Where can I get a service?parts manual?
Read a lot of past post and this seems to be the PLACE !
