This is probably a dumb question. However, I recently picked up a copy of a Buster Keaton film. It came in a plain white box and stamped on it was Halco Films with an address in Los Angeles. I was wondering was this a company that made the prints or would this just be a 8mm dealer in Los Angeles? I was hoping the film would shed some light but it is strictly the film and no print information.

If my memory serves correct, I remember having a Halco catalog back in the 1970s. It was a typewritten job containing films that I had not seen offered anywhere else -- which leads me to believe that they offered their own films. But, of course, I could very well be wrong!

I have a HALCO catalog. A wide variety of films in every category in super 8 and 16mm. Some items in here I haven't seen anywhere else. No info other than an address and prices.

Forgot to mention Michael, NO date at all...only an address. I probably got it in the early 1980s, as it advertises a giant illustrated video tape catalog for $1.00 on the cover.
