I bought a James Bond Super 8 print on ebay (OHMSS), it was very risky because the seller described it with 127 minutes (this is the German release version) and the trailer on two reels and I thought that something footage can be missing.
I was suprised and shocked, the reels are to big and dosenīt fit on my GS1200.
Which projector has the capacity for large reels like this?
I think this can be 1400ft or 1600ft reels, anyone have more info about this reels?

Here is the auction llink:

Beaulieu 708 and Fumeo 9XXX series will take reels up to 2400ft.
Or you can have your GS upgraded through Wittner. But you won't be able to fold the feeder and take-up arms again.
These look like actual 1600ft reels. A lot of spools sold as 1600ft capacity usually are 1200ft spools with smaller hubs that will barely take 1450ft of film.

The KODAK M100 also handles the extra large reels.

Just build a temporary spool holder, unwind the film from this contraption to empty reels on your projector in rewind mode and locate the splices...

Thanks for the info Jean-Marc.
The Film is now on 3 Elmo reels, there was a little accident and this cost me a bad splice (the only splice except the reel change splices).
Today I wanted to watch only the trailer which is spliced in front of the feature, but after the Trailer I run the whole reel and than the other reels. It was not possible to watch only a part of this great James bond feature.

Anyone want trade this 2 big reels for two 1200 ft Elmo reels?
