I have an Elmo Editor 912 Dual Type Viewer which I allow clients to use to view their 8mm film reels prior to transfer. Today, after a bit of use, the sprocket wheel feels "tight" and when film is run through the unit...it seems to "bind" a bit and the film slips a lot while running it through the viewer. If I barely push in the sprocket pin...it's a bit smoother.

It's such a simple unit that even taking it apart I can't really tell why this is happening. Anyone run into this? Or know why this might happen? Or anyone know where I might get one repaired. I have another unit that is silky smooth and on the surface I see no difference between them. Thanks for any insight!
