Does anyone have the Marketing Films release of this full feature? If so, is it in fact complete or slightly edited? Is it a sharp print?

Hi Michael, Marketing Film never released the film you're thinking
of.The film that they released "BLACK SUNDAY" is the terrorist
themed film with Bruce Dern in feature, 3x400 and 1x400
versions. The Mario Bava film "BLACK SUNDAY" or "MASK OF THE
DEMON","MASK OF SATAN", "REVENGE OF THE VAMPIRE" was
released by Derann and as I found recently,in an uncensored
version by a French releasing company.

Hi Hugh,
Ah, I suspected as much about the Marketing release - I was misinformed.
However, regarding the other releases, was the Derann an edited version? If so, by how much? Do you have it? How is it?

Hi Michael, the original std 8mm version was the complete version
released in GB under the title "REVENGE OF THE VAMPIRE", it has
a running time of 83 minutes, the later super 8 release was
cut by Derann, giving a running time in the 70 minute mark.
The version done by the French company,is the full 84 minutes
uncensored, the scenes that were shortened in the English edit
are presented in all there gory glory.Print on the old std 6mm was
very good, the later re-edit for S/8, was a stage removed, where
the image was not as dense, the French edition is excellent
has the title "LE MASQUE DU DEMON" and is the one to seek out.Shortly after I got mine, there was
another for sale on 2x1200 spools,so it is out there.
STD 8MM 4X400' very full spools DFS
SUPER 8 4X400' DFS
SUPER 8 FRENCH RELEASE 5X400'
